Red Rock Reflections 2013

David Werner (Adult):
1) What was a camp high? Worshiping God in the dark when the power went off.
2) What was a camp low?  That the water was driven by an electric pump!
3) What was a God-moment you experienced? When all the children of Kids Camp rushed forward to spend time at the altar each night.
Dan Hair (Adult):
1) What was a camp high? Meeting old friends and making new ones.
2) What was a camp low?  No onions on the hamburgers!
3) What was a God-moment you experienced? Learning about the depth of God’s amazing love in the adult Bible Study led by the camp evangelist.

Conner Keintz (Age 10):
1) What was a camp high? Archery and the Water Tricycles.
2) What was a camp low?  Leaving Camp (It was a sad moment, said with great drama)
3) What was a God-moment you experienced? When we had no power, I was really  uplifted and filled with God’s spirit during Worship.
Madelyn Leonard (Age 15):
1) What was a camp high? Able to barrel role through a net.
2) What was a camp low? I pulled a muscle in my back.
3) What was a God-moment you experienced? I felt God calling me to teach overseas.
Louis James (Adult):
1) What was a camp high? Participating in the talent show, sharing “You might be a Red Rocker if….”
2) What was a camp low? Camp was over and we had to go home.
3) What was a God-moment you experienced? At night when I slept my dreams continued to dwell on the teachings of our main evangelist, Dr. James Oswalt.

Emily Masterjohn (Age 12):
1) What was a camp high? Meeting new friends that are Christians just like me.
2) What was a camp low? When the electricity when out!
3) What was a God-moment you experienced? When people went down to the front to pray, we joined arms and sang and swayed together. God felt close!
Max Thompson (Age 11):
1) What was a camp high? There were too many “highs” to count.
2) What was a camp low?  No plumbing during the
3) What was a God-moment you experienced? I really felt like God was there during the hymn sing, when we were singing the old fashioned hymns.
Nathan Werner (Age 10):
1) What was a camp high? The water bikes.
2) What was a camp low? Having to leave!
3) What was a God-moment you experienced?
One night at tabernacle we were singing worship songs. I raised my hands, closed my eyes to sing, and I felt a tingly feeling on the inside. I knew God was right there.

Rebekah Werner (Age 12):
1) What was a camp high? Getting to see old camp friends again, making new ones, getting to invest in other kids of Kids Camp.
2) What was a camp low? Getting sick.
3) What was a God-moment you experienced? One night while praying during altar time, I felt as though God was talking to me.
Teresa Werner (Adult):
1) What was a camp high? Spending time with my good friend Pastor Lori, the children’s evangelist.
2) What was a camp low? Holding up the walls of the camper during storm.
3) What was a God-moment you experienced? Altar time after tabernacle – Wed. plus the excellent teaching/preaching of Dr. Oswalt.
