Rev. Dallas Rostad has been involved in ministry for over 20 years. He volunteered in non-denominational churches and then officially served as a youth pastor at a Nazarene church where he met his wife, Genevieve. Dallas and Genevieve were called into the mission field and joined Youth With A Mission (YWAM) for over five years. They were based out of Colorado Springs, CO, but spent much of their time traveling, leading short-term mission teams from all over the US and other countries to places that had the least access to the Gospel. Some of the highlights of their time in YWAM include trips to China, Egypt, Afghanistan, India, Ghana, and Tibet.
In 2007, they moved back to their hometown of Fergus Falls to continue to mobilize and raise up more mission workers, while working part time and continuing to stay involved with various ministries. In 2010, Dallas accepted the youth leader position at Grace United Methodist Church. During his time there, he began the process of becoming a Local Licensed Pastor in the UMC. Dallas has been an LLP since 2013 and his role has expanded to youth and young adults as well as leading a worship service every Sunday called The Bridge. Dallas has a passion for Jesus and a strong dedication to see young people walk out their faith. Dallas also enjoys movies, the New York Yankees, and spending time with his family, which includes his wife, Genevieve, and children, India (7), Mylo (5), Nova (2) and Riah (11 months).
