Missionaries: Jon, Jamie, Mackenzie, Preston, Tatum, and Anders
Jon, a native of Minnesota, met his wife Jamie in Colorado Springs while serving at Youth With A Mission (YWAM). They married in 2005, have four wonderful children, and have served in over 20 countries. They are passionate about seeing human trafficking end in their lifetime. They believe every person has intrinsic value and should not be bought, sold, or exploited. They have been privileged to work in prevention, intervention, restoration, and education all with the goal of ending human trafficking. They use appropriate technology (clean water systems, food production, sanitation, etc.) to get people out of the at-risk category. They have partnered with other organizations to do brothel raids and rescue victims. They’ve worked in safe homes and helped in the transition from victim to survivor. They also take every opportunity to educate others about the atrocities of human trafficking and how they can be involved in abolishing modern day slavery.
Jon and Jamie recognize that human trafficking, and all that it entails, is a huge injustice but know that the greatest injustice is not having access to the Gospel. In everything they do they strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus and share of the Good News. God is on the move in the nations! He is revealing himself in dreams and visions. Miracles and healings are happening, and he is touching peoples lives all over the planet. Jon and Jamie have countless stories that will encourage, challenge, and champion the body of Christ.
