I am Jacob Hanson, and I am blessed to be in Kasson working as the Pastor with both Kasson United Methodist Church and Pleasant Corners United Methodist Church. My background is in education (history and political science… ask me about European revolutions sometime), but my passion is proclaiming Christ crucified. While I am a fairly young man, I have been blessed to work for nearly a decade in youth ministry, with several years of teaching under my belt as well before coming to Kasson. I love talking Scripture, praying with folks, and doing whatever I can to encourage people. (Read Matthew 6:25-34 sometime… it will change your life!)
Outside of church life I am in many ways an average Joe from the wilds of Wisconsin. (Go Packers!) I love hunting, fishing, sports, and lifting weights. I love the country and the small town life, so I am very thankful to be serving in a place with tractors and corn. My wife, Rhianna, is the love of my life and the hardest working person I know. She is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, and she too loves the outdoors. You will likely see Rhianna and I walking around the streets of Kasson, at the local stores, or in the gym on Main Street.
